Junior Kindergarten
For the Tiger Cubs, the world around them is inspiration - bright colors, familiar shapes, tactile objects - and for this art project, they expressed their creativity using a medium most familiar to them, LEGOs. Our Hands was inspired by Andy Warhol's lithography series and the mosaics of Antoni Gaudi. This one-of-a-kind installation offers a stylish, modern addition to any playroom, family room or kids room.

1st Grade
This year's inspiration was "Our World." This piece of art reminds us that we are all in it together and that we have to take care of it. It reminds us that it is important to accept each other and to lie in peace. Each 1st grader made a doll out of paper Mache, painted their own faces and decorated the clothes. The dolls were then pasted around the paper Mache world on a blue painted canvas. This is the perfect decoration for your child's room, playroom or anywhere you want to add a colorful, but meaningful piece of art.

4th Grade
Inspired by the collage art of Eric Carle, the 4th graders have created a whimsical triptych collage painting. Using their own photos, decorative papers and the collage technique, the children have depicted themselves as flowers, birds, insects or small animals. The children's creations were then glued and decoupaged onto three heavy-duty 18" x 30" canvases, which are painted with a Marin-like landscapes.
You will notice Miss Isetta shining her beaming face over the scene as the "Sun." Look closer and you will find Mrs. Peoples and Senora Buckley depicted as watchful butterflies, and Miss Carey, as a curious caterpillar keeping an eye on all the happy little critters. The result is a delightful piece of original folk art that is a joy to behold. It is sure to be treasured by the lucky winner for years to come.

The complete project is frame in a simple, white wood frame with a dazzling, lime green border. This amazing piece of art will be a wonderful addition to any student's bedroom, or family room. 6th Grade
The wishes of our children are held safe within the vibrant colored origami cranes. Elegantly fashioned on fine Blackwood Acacia, set inside a handsome wood frame, and upgraded with museum glass. This beautiful piece will enhance any room in your home. Our children mastered the ancient art of origami, choosing the crane for its symbol of honor, loyalty, and peace. Their personal, caring, and profound wishes were written on each piece of fine paper before creating their cranes of varying sizes and rich color. The wishes are available on the back mounting for viewing e.g. "I hope that everybody has a friend;" I wish I would be forgiven;" I wish for peace in people's life.
The design was influenced by Will and Caro and the world famous Linda Tomoko Mihara donated her time to consult on the project and selected the fine grade Washi paper. Similar pieces by Will and Caro sell for thousands of dollars. Now is your chance to own this masterpiece.

Included in this piece is also their aspirations, intentions, and goals for the future, these students know what they have learned and clearly know how far they can go and what they can achieve. The theme of this piece is Love where you have been (hearts) and Shoot for the Stars (to see how high you can go), the colors are the Saint Hilary School colors, Red, White, and Blue.
