Saint Hilary School Choir - Students (Grades 3 to 8) rehearse once a week during the school day. They develop vocal technique, work on ear training and sight singing, and learn to sing both independently and with others. Students are encouraged to act as cantors or choir members for worship services, and have many performance opportunities throughout the year at school, parish and civic events.
Student Council - Ten elected officers from Middle School grades lead all-school assemblies, plan Spirit Days and dances, and lead the student body in many fundraising and community building activities. Students are elected at the end of the year for council the following year. They attend a summer leadership workshop in preparation for their term.
Get Some, Give Some – Students in Middle School meet once a month to plan their service intentions; hosting a soup supper, visiting nursing homes, making lunch for the homeless, as well as selecting a community organization to support.
Tiger Tales – The School Newspaper is run by a member of the Student Council, with staff writers from Grade 5. The newspaper is published once a month.
After Math – Run by the Grade 5-8 math teacher, this club meets weekly for math tutoring.
