COVID Safety

2021-2022 SHS Safety Plans

As we continue to navigate the unique challenges that the COVID pandemic has created, we remain grateful for the continued support from our families, faculty, and staff. We remain committed to providing an exceptional education rooted in spiritual formation, academic excellence, and social well-being for all our students while we weather the COVID-19 storm.

As this pandemic continues through the 21-22 school year, we have continually updated our safety plans, and our protocols to follow the health mandates of the CDC, MDOH, Marin County Department of Education, and the SF Archdiocese Department of Catholic Schools. Our primary objective, now and always, is the health and safety of our Saint Hilary Community. These plans are essential to the success of our in-person, on-campus instruction and our distance learning program.

On January 14, 2021, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) published “COVID-19 and Reopening In-Person Instruction Framework & Public Health Guidance for K-12 Schools in California, 2020-2021 School Year.” This updated framework, among other items, requires that schools which have already reopened for in-person instruction post a COVID-19 Safety Plan publicly on its website homepage by February 1, 2021.

COVID-19 School Guidance Checklist: this 4-page checklist serves as consolidated public attestation that a school’s safety plan satisfies requirements for the safe reopening of schools per CDPH. Click on CPP Document for the Archdiocese of San Francisco here for most recent information.
