Spring Fund-A-Need
Let’s finish what we started last year and cool down the middle school once and for all!
We’re ready to install air conditioning in the Science Room and throughout Grades 6–8. Thanks to your incredible generosity last year, we’ve already raised an amazing $95,000! The total project cost, based on three bids and approval from the SF Archdiocese, comes to $150,000—so we’re just $60,000 away from sweet, refreshing victory.
Let’s be honest… middle schoolers + warm afternoons = a fragrance no one asked for. Help our heroic Middle School teachers—Mr. Bennett, Mr. Campbell, Dr. Bailey, Mr. Finn, Mrs. Smart, and Mrs. Todd—teach without battling heat, humidity, and eau de adolescence. Research shows students focus better, stay more alert, and perform at higher levels in temperature-regulated classrooms. In other words: cooler kids = sharper minds!
And parents of younger students—your day is coming! Blink, and you’ll have a middle schooler (and possibly an odiferous car ride home). We upgraded the lower school bathrooms for our elementary students a few years ago—now it’s time to show the same love to our middle schoolers.
Traditionally, we alternate our Fund-a-Need focus between teacher development and major facilities projects. The good news? Our Teacher Development Fund is strong, and we’re excited to support our faculty with expanded professional training in 2026–27.
This year, let’s rally together by raising our paddles at the Spring Gala, cross the finish line, and bring the cool back to middle school!
