Fun with Italian! - Ms. Guagenti
So much Italian, so little time!Benvenuti a tutti! Come join our Italian familia in the Language Lab!
Students need no prior knowledge of Italian. Last Fall's students can make a seamless transition into this Winter session, while welcoming new friends into a friendly and supportive space, as we continue our learning journey about the "bellezza" that is Italy and its language!
We'll start with a review of basic conversation practice, then learn new vocabulary and verbs. Students will learn about Italy's diverse regions and delicious dishes. This course encourages students to learn Italian through varied means; pick a favorite Italian topic to share with the class, such as Italy's favorite sport, "calcio!" (soccer). And of course, there will be more art projects! Get creative with your own interpretation of an Italian Renaissance masterpiece!
In addition, we'll continue basic Italian greetings and conversation by enjoying Italian songs that display text on video, designed especially for the younger child. By watching and listening, children adapt an effective and lasting way to learn another language!
