Do you believe in the value of Catholic education? Are you willing to dig into your pockets to help those who might otherwise not be able to stay in a Catholic school?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, please consider making a solid commitment to our Victoria Ann La Rocca Scholarship Fund which was named after our beloved Tori who left us all too soon in the summer of 2017. Please think about a donation each time those little envelopes are mailed to you, each time you choose to update your Last Will and Testament, each time you sit down and prayerfully decide how you would like to share your blessings with the less fortunate.

As a scholarship student myself, I always remember in my prayers those who made my education possible, such as the elderly couple in Iowa with whom I studied Dutch back in 1977 - they were the owners of Pella Doors and Windows, which offered me, a kid from the Mojave Desert, their "Rollscreen Scholarship" and thus enabled me to study in Pella, Vienna, and Paris, before moving on to Stanford, where yet another scholarship made my graduate work possible. Then of course the good people of the Archdiocese of San Francisco allowed me to study at St Patrick's Seminary for four years, in preparation for priesthood - none of which would have been affordable for my folks and me.

Our Victoria Ann La Rocca Scholarship Fund lets us give financial assistance to families who love Saint HIlary School, but are going through a rough time due to loss of a job, or another crisis.

If you are not already supporting a worthy cause, please prayerfully consider this important fund, which can make all the difference in the world for little children who thrive here, and then go on to great things in high school and college! Think about the Victoria Ann La Rocca Scholarship Fund, when you are planning your choices for the coming year. Pray about this when you are updating your Last Will and Testament.

Talk about this with your friends and neighbors who have money, and who might want to do something positive with it for the children of our community.
